IÕm It N ThatÕs That

Basic Info

#545320
Sire: Bright Reflection 229096
Dam: Delightful Del 448379

Foaled 1995 ~ Died July 2023

His name was Im It N Thats That, aka, Scottie. He was a gift to a woman who lost her horse in the 2010 Sharon, Massachusetts barn fire. A woman who owned Scottie at the time saw the tragedy on the news and graciously donated Scottie to her. She allowed me to lease him for my entire childhood and into college, so he was also a very big part of my life. He recently passed due to his cancer coming back after 10 years, it happened very quickly. His owner and I have been pretty devastated since he passed in late July.Ê

So his backstory to my knowledge is that he was a stud in Kentucky [Steve Berry, Corydon, Kentucky] for some years, but ended up at auction / kill pen. He was then picked up by a woman in Massachusetts and was broke around 2005? He was western broke! So he was so good at neck reining and had a lovely little jog. He was about 10 when he was broken in so 2005 sounds about right. He was gifted in 2010/2011 then went through chemo until 2013. Philip Whitmore of Orange, Massachusetts owns It's a Pleasure Training, and one of his studs, Artie (IÕm His Last Gift) actually sired so many of ScottieÕs grandbabies, so his lineage is a lot longer than I realized.
