Sherry Byrd discovered a discrepancy...F-137 is listed as a mare in the ApHC Stud Book, and yet the ApHC file of F-214 indicates a stallion....but Polka Dot F-137 foaled in 1944 and F-214 foaled 1945. It would appear that the sire /dam were reversed on F-214 [most likely-AT], or it may be an error with F-137 - meaning the horse should have been listed as a stallion and not a mare - Except - there are four offspring with Polka Dot as the dam... Anyone have any knowledge about this?

Notes: The actual pedigree of Rainy Moon, as recorded by ApHC is not correct, and was falsified by his last recorded owner King Parsons. The actual pedigree of RM is known and so confirmed by those who bred and owned him, prior to Parsons' owning him. Parsons claims to have owned RM, and even registered foals sired by him back in the early 40Õs. Yet family records of the Baldwins [RM previous owners] show that RM was still in Baldwins possession as late as 1949, and the ApHC record show foals sired by him in the Lander area as late as 1953 and 1954. ~Sherry Byrd, Researcher
